Terms of Service

Last updated: June 7, 2026

This is the agreement between you and ClearCast (the "Service"). It's the formal version, but we've kept it in plain English so you can actually read it. Creating an account or using ClearCast means you're on board with what's below.

1. What ClearCast does

ClearCast lets you create, schedule, approve, publish, and analyze social content across the platforms you connect. We're always building, so features and availability can change.

2. Your account

Give us accurate details, keep your login safe, and be old enough to sign a contract where you live. What happens under your account is on you — including anything teammates you invite get up to.

3. Connecting your platforms

When you connect a platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Mastodon), you're letting ClearCast act for you — publishing what you create and pulling the basic info those features need. Each platform still has its own rules, and following them is your responsibility. Disconnect any platform whenever you like in Settings → Integrations.

4. Your content stays yours

You own what you create or upload. You're just giving us the narrow permission we need to store it, process it, and publish it where you tell us to. Make sure you actually have the rights to whatever you publish.

5. Don't misuse it

Don't use ClearCast to publish anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive, to break a platform's rules, to poke at other customers' data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. The full list lives in our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Paying for it

Paid plans run through our payment processor. You'll see fees, billing cycles, and any taxes at checkout — no surprises. Cancel anytime; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we say otherwise.

7. What we can and can't promise

ClearCast is provided "as is." We can't guarantee a post will always land on a third-party platform — that depends on the platform's uptime, rules, and approvals, which are out of our hands. We're also not responsible for actions a connected platform takes against your accounts.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ClearCast isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Leaving

You can walk away and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken. When things end, we delete or de-identify your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. When these change

If we update these Terms, the "Last updated" date changes too. Keep using ClearCast after a change and you're accepting it.
