Acceptable Use Policy
Most of this is common sense, but it matters: ClearCast publishes to platforms with strict rules, and if you break them it puts your accounts — and ours — at risk. So here's the line. This applies to everyone who uses ClearCast, and using it means you're agreeing to it alongside our Terms of Service.
Don't use ClearCast to:
- Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy.
- Distribute malware, spam, or engage in phishing or fraud.
- Post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that promotes violence or terrorism.
- Transmit sensitive personal data (e.g., payment card numbers, health records, government IDs) through post content.
- Attempt to access other customers' data, probe or bypass security, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell or build a competing service from ClearCast, or scrape the service.
- Use the service to violate any connected platform's rules or to artificially inflate engagement.
Each platform's rules still apply
Publishing through ClearCast doesn't move the goalposts — you're still on the hook for every destination platform's own terms and policies:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — Platform Terms and Community Standards
- YouTube (Google) — Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- X — Terms of Service and Rules
- TikTok — Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Mastodon — the rules of the server you publish to
If a platform restricts or removes content, or limits API access, ClearCast cannot override that decision.
Enforcement
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate access for violations of this AUP, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required. We will use reasonable judgment and, where practical, give notice.
